Did his M.F.A in film at France's national film academy (ESAV) before working his way around the world as a cameraman, translator, friend for hire, location scout, wine salesman, and producer. This somehow all lead him to spend a lot of time at the edit bay, close to 15 years now. He and his partner (and edit bay and dog) are currently situated in the lovely hamlet of Allentown, NJ.
When notes from execs, dizzying camera work and frustration subsume into a nightmare, he retreats to his second home in Gardiner, NY, where rock climbing, painting, and nature... nurture his soul.
A big believer in volunteering, he has worked with The Bridge of Children in Haiti for over 10 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters for nearly five and RAM, Remote Area Medical. He continues to help raise money for the Afghan Mobile Mini Children's Circus in Kabul, an organization he made a film with years ago that remains near and dear to his heart today.
This is a standard resume.
